Kakashi x Shy!Reader [AU]

You sat quietly reading a book, blocking out the world, and people, around you. With a sigh, you read the last sentence and close the book looking around you. There were still people taking the test. And there was still half an hour left in class. Your wandering eyes landed on your crush. Kakashi Hatake.

He looked up from his book, noticing you looking at him, and sent you a smirk. 

Blushing furiously, you look back down and flipped to a random page in your book. Crap! He saw me! What if he thinks I was staring at him? What if he thinks I'm some weirdo!? 

After class you quickly left and headed to your locker. Finally school was over and you could now go-

"Hey," 

You shut your locker and jumped at who was standing next to you. It was him. Kakashi. 

Your face lit up again and you began to studder. "I-I-.....Uh...H-hi." Looking away from him, you focus your attention on the ground below you. 

He chuckled and slung his arm around your shoulder, "Come on." 

And away he took you on your first date where he told you how he had noticed how you would steal glances at him and blush everytime your eyes connected. And how he liked you as well. 

Over the next few weeks the two of you grew close. However your shyness around him didn't seem to lessen. 

"You're shyness is rather cute," he would say whenever you blushed and studdered, unable to say anything, which would make you blush even harder. 

And after two months of spending endless time together, he gave you his first kiss and you gave him yours. 

Even though half the time you were a studdering, blushing, incoherent mess, he still understood everything. 

~Le Time Skip: 4 years~

You walked hand in hand with your masked man with the same soft smile on your face. Happy you were with him. 

"Hey, _______," he stopped and looked at you. 

You looked up at him and smiled, "Yes?" 

"I love you." 

Your face reddens and you studder back, "I-I l-love you, too." 

He chuckled and removed his mask, "Even after all these years, you still blush like crazy when I say something like that to you." He stuck his hand in his pocket and pulled something out, getting down on one knee. 

Your face turned redder at this action. 

"_______, I love you. I will always love you. Will you marry me?" He holds out a box with the most beautifully crafted ring. 

And with tears running down your face, you graciously accept.
